The National Sales Manager will lead the inside and outside sales force in developing and implementing an overall sales strategy. This strategy will yield a sustainable competitive advantage that translates into continued growth consistent with the company’s strategic plan. The National Sales Manager must gain an advanced understanding of GigSmart’s applications. They will possess the ability to coordinate the efforts of the sales team to effectively drive installation & engagement of GigSmart platforms. This position requires a seasoned manager with outstanding organizational skills & the ability to manage a growing sales force.


  • Sales Performance: Set individual targets with sales team and drive sales performance
  • Build and maintain an upbeat and positive culture that inspires a sense of urgency, constant innovation, teamwork, and strong commitment to individual and team accountability
  • Client Management: Supporting sales team to build and maintain solid customer relationships throughout given territories
  • Work with the sales team and marketing team to develop an effective inbound methodology model that develops leads and prospects
  • Develop strong personal relationships with customers
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of GigSmart’s applications
  • Possess knowledge of competitor’s applications
  • Responsible for researching and approaching new growth opportunities throughout the country
  • Occasional travel to support the sales teams and better serve our users

Skills and Competencies

  • Must have experience building a sales team in a start-up / turn around environment
  • Past experience building a sales playbook which includes effective prospecting, steps of the sale, specific closing techniques and prospect/ pipeline management
  • 2+ years of sales management experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Ability to interact professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Background in tech is a plus

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
